Industrialization
It is the first album which was released as a solo project of Peter Karski only later it has been renamed for New Furniture. It features an expansive documentation of the Copernicus High trip-song in Slovakia as well as other “primitive” stuff from the city of Czestochova.
Title of Second Album Consists of Eight Words
The most striking feature of this recording is the fact that it arose almost without any hardware or mixers. The whole album has been composed and arranged using ancient and generally available equipment: Hi-Fi stereo, a few wires, microphone and several odd instruments.
8 by 8
The most significant issue concerning this album is the fact that it consists of two historical songs by the band „Maria”. The whole CD is a tribute to the number eight and has become the brainchild of the idea of collective jamming. Album recorded with great reverence.
Hail Cesar
This album is all about the bass and guitar with some additional crazy keyboard and vocals. It has got some references to the ancient music and classical standards. Nevertheless it is a highly experimental jazz fusion with loads of comedy reincarnations. Praise Euterpe.
Veecoo & Gearschtoff
The music was composed by an ex-Funkenstein guitar virtuoso. Later on additional keyboards and wacky bass were introduced. The concepts of lyrics have bloomed over the years of a creation process. This is definitely the slowest album with some climate of nostalgia.
Middle of It All
It was on 21 Sep 1998. It is a recording from a dictaphone during our “High Cruising” around The Falcon Mountains after devouring a handful of Magic Mushrooms. Starring Kate Sh. Remastered and mixed on a 10th anniversary of that unforgettable tripping.
Idea Number 8
It is surely the shortest NM album but at the same time conveying the deepest message. The whole CD is like a futuristic jazz radio play. It tells a story of Peter Karski’s abduction by an unknown race of aliens. Unfortunately for the time being there is no English translation.
Owocowa Magia
Fruity Magix is the 8th and probably the most notable album for that matter as the Number ATE is of Great Importance to the Nowe Meble crew. The music is fully sampled with stuff found all over the place. The tracks have been mashed by Sony Acid Pro in the seclusion of a homestead. The lyrics and mixing were made only by Yours Truly without any help this time. This may be the first of the Eight Albums which is actually Audible and listener Friendly 8-) Cheers…
Cover My Arse
So far, there is only a partially developed basic plan to honour top tracks of Primitive Ate, Funkenstein, Maria and Nowe Meble. Perhaps one day maybe even some of the classic songs from Last.fm. However only a few tracks have been officially attached so far. Anyway, the idea germinates and is waiting in the maturing studio next in a queue (...)
